Braille images and text

The Smartiwacu Braille Translator is designed to run recognition and basic translation in your browser. The application does not intentionally upload your Braille images or entered text to a Smartiwacu account or database.

Browser extension

The Smartiwacu browser extension requests no browser permissions. Braille entered into its basic translator is processed locally in the extension. The extension opens this website only when you select one of its website links.

Hosting information

Like most websites, the hosting and network providers that deliver the site may receive standard request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access. Smartiwacu does not use the app to create advertising profiles or sell user data.

Retention

Preferences or history saved by the web app are stored in your own browser. You can remove them with the app controls or your browser's site-data controls.
