Terms of Use

Effective date: 13 October 2026

Smartiwacu provides Braille recognition and translation tools for informational and educational use. Results can be affected by image quality, page orientation, Braille language, contractions, technical notation, and model limitations.

Verify important results

Do not rely on an automated result as the only source for legal, medical, examination, safety-critical, or publication decisions. Important transcriptions should be checked by a qualified Braille reader.

Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and respect the privacy and rights of people whose documents you process. Do not attempt to disrupt the service or misrepresent automated output as verified human transcription.

Availability

The service is provided as available, without a guarantee that every Braille code, document, browser, or image will be interpreted correctly. Features may change as recognition quality improves.

Support

See the Smartiwacu support page for help and issue reporting.
